Lagu ini menceritakan tentang seorang laki-laki yang datang ke orang tua wanita pujaannya. Bertemu dengan ayah sang gadis, mengutarakan niat dan keinginannya untuk mempersunting gadis pujaannya tersebut untuk dijadikannya istri yang akan menemaninya seumur hidupnya. Dengan canggung, nervous, dan beribu perasaan lainnya ia berusaha meyakinkan ayah sang gadis. Ia katakan betapa ia menyayangi dan mencintainya, berjanji akan selalu membahagiakannya, menjaganya dan tak mampu untuk kehilangannya. Bercerita betapa sang gadis tersebut adalah segalanya baginya.
Dia pun menyadari, bahwa tak pernah dia bisa membayangkan bagaimana jika dia tak bisa hidup bersama putri sang ayah tersebut. Dengan keyakinan yang besar, ia meminta ijin kepada ayahnya untuk dapat menikah dengan putri ayah dan menjadikannya ratunya.
